DONATIONS // AIM SPONSORS

We are sincerely thankful for the many people and institutions that sponsor us spiritually and financially in this mission of helping those struggling with addiction gain their freedom.  Becoming an AIM sponsor is easy and your contribution will go towards helping encourage radical transformation in candidates and inspire a compelling future for graduates.

“The first question which the priest and the Levite asked was: 'If I stop to help this man, what will happen to me?' But...the good Samaritan reversed

the question: 'If I do not stop to help this man, what will happen to him?' ”

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.

DONATIONS // THE GARRETT DENSON SCHOLARSHIP

Garrett Denson understood the struggle many face regarding addiction.

He decided to make a life altering change and entered a long term faith based rehabilitation program. Garrett thrived in the program, ended up giving his life to Christ, and became a light to the world. After graduating he went on to serve in leadership where he poured into others struggling with addiction. Garrett had a passion for people and a heart to serve. He was and still is loved by his family and many, many others that had the privilege of getting to know such a kind hearted spirit.

The Garrett Denson Scholarship has been established in his honor as a way for his passion to serve others to carry on.

DONATIONS / /  MONTHLY GIVING IS EASY

There are many ways you can contribute and help those struggling with addiction achieve their independence.  We hope you faithfully consider a financial contribution to help us cover expenses such as scholarships for recovery programs. Below are some answers to common questions about financial giving. If you still have questions, please contact us.

Q. How will my financial donation be used?

A. Your financial donation allows AIM to provide scholarships for candidates to effective addiction recovery programs.  It also is sometimes used to help augment our services such as job counseling, job training, and education, as well as food, clothing, and shelter. The Addiction Independence Ministry (AIM) is a non-profit, educational, charitable organization incorporated under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations of cash qualify as a tax deduction.

Q. How much of my donation is actually used to benefit those struggling with addiction?

A. AIM is committed to wise stewardship of the donations provided by our partners and we are dedicated to a policy of debt-free operation. At least 84% of each dollar you give goes directly to our addiction recovery and Post-Graduate Sustainability programs. At most, 16% of funds are used for administration and fund-raising. We at AIM greatly appreciates the sacrifice and commitment of donor partners. Please call us to learn more about how our funds are used.

Q. Are there other giving alternatives such as planned giving?

A. Yes, there are many options available including memorials and endowments and estate giving. If you have questions about planned giving options, please feel free to contact us for a private discussion about your options.

Q. Can I visit a Recovery Candidate to see how my donation will be used?

A. Absolutely! There are many ways to see your dollars at work in our ministry.  For example, we schedule regular visits to recovery facilities.  Depending on the specific program’s guidelines, we sometimes share meals and provide encouragement to our sponsored candidates. Partner donors and visitors are always welcome to join us.  Please call for more information on how you can join us for the next recovery center visit.
